ABOUT THE CUP
Team Wyoming vs Team Arizona
The WyoZona Cup was born out of a COVID-era 2020 golf trip between two college buddies and has grown into what it is today—a four-day, six-person, multi-format traveling golf competition. Over the past five years, we’ve teed it up at some of the nation’s top courses, creating unforgettable golf memories along the way.
This year marks the second official edition of the WyoZona Cup, with scoring and bragging rights on the line. Team Wyoming captured the inaugural Cup last year in Idaho, and they’ll look to defend their title as the teams meet again—this time in Portland. The tournament will span four days and feature a mix of formats, including alternate shot, scramble, stroke play, and match play, to determine this year’s Grand Champions.

Founder
JOSH
BARGE
He’s been doing this for six years, folks. Six beautiful, tremendous years of golf trips. Nobody plans trips like this guy—**nobody**. The Biltmore. What happened there? People are still talking about it. It was incredible.
He swings a big stick **huge** but let’s be honest, it rarely finds the fairway. People know him. They say, “He’s the guy who puts these trips together.” And you know what? They’re right. He does great things.
TEAM WYOMING

The Muscle & The Money
MATT
HARTFORD
Look up maverick in the dictionary and you’ll find this guy. Dresses like a lawyer, golfs like a full-blown rockstar. Whether it's transfusions or tequila, he's throwing down $1,000 tabs—win or lose. Big hitter, the llama. He walks the walk… and then completely forgets what happened. Legend status: pending but inevitable.

The Calm One
PATRICK
HARTFORD
The Maverick’s little brother—and the definition of cool, calm, and collected. They call him Triple C. His golf game’s on the rise, but more importantly, this is the guy you want in your cart when a group of dickweeds “accidentally” hits into you. There’s nothing better than watching him stay stone cold while his brother absolutely loses it.

The Hipster
SHAUN
REEDY
This guy refuses to be out-dressed. There are hipster looks—and then there’s Reedy Wear. His golf game is just as bold as the fits he shows up in: high-flying and full send. Always down for a good time, Shaun joined the squad in 2024 and is already making his case for legacy membership.
TEAM ARIZONA

The Ole Bull
MIKE
RUNGE
Mike Runge is a man with a story. We call him Two Dog One Bun. He lives for a good time, and somehow, hot dogs find their way into every turn. The shorts are long, the pants are short—fashion rules don’t apply. He’s showing up monochrome on the course, and he doesn’t care who knows it.

6 Iron
JAKE
KOBER
Jake was a mediocre golfer until his 6-iron found a cart on #16 at Incline Village in 2021. Ever since, he’s been throwing darts—and slinging rhymes that rhyme with darts. He’s the kind of guy who washes his hands before he pees. That’s just how he rolls. He’s also got a soft spot for a little Latin flair, if you know what that means.
